How to order
Check out the products online. When you find something that catches your eye you can add it to your shopping basket – you can add as many items to your basket as you need. Once you have finished shopping simply click ‘go to checkout’. This area of the site is secure, you can enter your personal and payment details without any worries about your details going anywhere they shouldn't. The rest is up to us – we will pack and post the goods to you as fast as we can so that you can get out there and enjoy them!

Ways to Pay
You can pay online using Visa or MasterCard. We have chosen the tried and tested BuyPoint payment service from the National Bank of New Zealand to carry out all transactions. You will be connected to their own secure server when making payment - 100% guaranteed. Your payment details will be sent to and processed directly by The National Bank of New Zealand and will not be disclosed to Active Kiwi at any point.

All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. If you don’t have a credit card but would like to shop with us please send a cheque or money order in NZ$ with details of the items that you require to:

When paying by cheque items will be sent to you as soon as funds have been cleared. Remember to include in the amount payable the value of the goods plus shipping costs if applicable. Back to top

Exchanges & Refunds
We want you to be happy with the things that you buy from us. If something doesn’t turn out to be your dream purchase or is the wrong size or colour send it back to us as new with the original packaging within 14 days and we’ll happily give you a refund or swap it. We will cover the cost of sending a replacement out to you but you will need to cover the cost of returning the original items. Back to top

Warranties
If any of the products that we sell you are faulty or break when they shouldn’t, send it back to us with a note explaining what’s wrong. We will either refund or replace the item as quickly as possible. We will cover the cost of the postage back to us and of sending you a replacement. Back to top

Personal Details
Protecting your privacy is very important to us. The details that you provide us with when purchasing products will be kept strictly confidential and will not be shared or passed onto any third parties, other than information needed by the bank to process your payment. The info that you give us allows us to process and deliver your goods. We do like to keep in touch with you though from time to time to alert you to any great deals or new products. If you do not wish to be kept up to date or hear from us please select the opt-out box when you reach checkout. Back to top

Freight Details
We know that you will probably like to get out there and try your new purchase as soon as possible. That’s why, whenever possible, we try and ship your order the day that we receive it. If we receive your order later in the day it will be shipped the next business day. Deliveries are made Monday – Friday and should arrive the next working day for the North Island. Please allow an extra 2-3 days for the South Island.

We currently only ship within New Zealand. However, if you live overseas and would like to make a purchase please email us at info@activekiwi.co.nz

Postage costs are based on the total value of your order. The more you spend the less you pay for postage. Spend $300 or more and the postage is on us!! Postage will be itemised as part of your order when you reach checkout.

Availability of Product
Active Kiwi makes every effort to keep our stock levels online as accurate as possible. Occasionally we may sell out of a particular product and it may not be available in the timeframes we hope. In these cases we will make contact with you and to let you know about options including refund, estimated time to re-stock or alternate product options. Back to top

Security Statement
The Active Kiwi site provides this security statement to give you peace of mind while you shop on our site.

Why shopping at the Active Kiwi is safe:

Web browsers can operate in "normal" mode and in "secure" mode. You can tell which mode your browser is in by looking at the toolbar at the bottom of the browser window. If you see a broken key, or an open padlock - or indeed nothing at all, you are in normal mode. If the key is whole, or the padlock is closed, you are in "secure" mode, this is known as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).

When you surf the Net in "normal" mode, all the information you type into your browser and all the information the Web site sends to you is visible to eavesdroppers. When the browser is in "secure" mode it encrypts all the information between itself and the server providing the page you are viewing. Encrypted information looks like meaningless garbage to eavesdroppers, so your personal information is secure.

Active Kiwi supports industry standard Internet encryption 40 bit SSL when you make an order from our site, with the credit card details being encrypted using a 448 bit asymmetric key. In addition the website software that the Active Kiwi uses holds a digital certificate from Thawte that is compatible with Netscape and Microsoft browsers.

When you enter your details on the order form, your browser will automatically inform you that encryption is being used. Furthermore, all data stored on our secure order server (contact and postal details only) is protected by a firewall. All credit card details are kept encrypted at all times and only used when processing the order. Back to top
